66 minutes and 54 seconds of Einsturzende Neubauten (Blixa Bargeld--who is the singer and has also written all the lyrics on this album--, Alexander Hacke, Andrew Chudy, Jochen Arbeit, and Rudolf Moser), who have come out with an album entitled Perpetuum Mobile...  You may be asking yourselves how come I have decided to review just another German group...  Well, I happen to like their sound, although it's not very easy listening music, nor is it for all ears!  I have always said that Music should have no barriers so you may be wondering "why is she discriminating on ears"?!  No, it's just that the sounds of Einsturzende Neubauten may be a bit "too harsh" for some listeners out there... From the first track "Ich Gehe Jetzt" (I'm Going Now), with its dark and gloomy edge, to the uptempo craziness of "Perpetuum Mobile"--that lasts more than 13 minutes! and continuing to the third "Ein Leichtes Leises Sauseln" (A Whisper Light and Low), that is sung in a sort of talking/chanting voice, Perpetuum Mobile is definitely a record that should be on your shelves... Nothing to do with Rammstein or Laibach, except for the fact that they're from the same country!

Se un estraneo (inteso come una persona estranea alla Musica!) entrasse nella stanza nell'istante preciso in cui stesse per iniziare il brano "Perpetuum Mobile" di questa Band, ke si diverte a fare esperimenti musicali in ogni aspetto e forma, forse gli verrebbe l'impulso di scappare a gambe levate pensando di essere entrato in una specie di finimondo!  Infatti, all'inizio di questo brano (ke da' il nome all'album), si sente di tutto, poi, man mano, torna alla "normalita'", se normalita' si puo' dire!  Pensate ke usano abitualmente strumenti come compressori d'aria, tubi di plastica, ruote di makina, una specie di strumento ke gira con i rumori causati dal vento, percussioni di metallo, senza menzionare quelli "normali", appunto il clavicembolo, i violini, organi hammond e tutti gli altri strumenti in commercio!  Comunque, e' un buon album ed e' sicuramente un cd da avere nei vost ri scaffali, da suonare nel lettore ad un buon volume di ascolto... Non hanno nulla da invidiare, a mio parere, ne' a Rammstein ne' a Laibach; certamente, non si puo' fare alcun paragone se non quello di dire ke sono dello stesso paese!
